Qoymaq: (verb) to put, to let

Sound-signify:

prominent form/type [q]: sprouting out of main body

vectorial tendency [o]: (relative to) near environment

function [y]: invisible, obscure

Sound-signify version: ([do the act] of sprouting nature) + (relative to near environment) + ([functionally] obscure)

Semantic interpretation: ([to] do obscurely the job of sprouting nature relative to near environment)

Point!

Qoy: (as noun: ‘sheep’, as verb: ‘to put, to let’)

Seemingly, the original complexity of ‘qoy’ as a noun and ‘qoy’ as a verb could go back to the early dealing with sheep, of course, not necessarily at domesticating process. This original complexity can give valuable information in this regard. We rather assume that the verbal aspect of this complexity had most probably been ‘to let’. This meaning _to let_ can give a clue to the relation.

The animals (comprising birds) and fruits that their names start in the sound [q] are supposed to have come/sent/related to some main origin. Then, we can trace them forth in later religious narrations.
